How credits, plans, and usage-based billing work.
Credit system
Flowpatrol uses a credit-based billing model. Each scan mode costs a fixed number of credits:

Reports are always free to view.
Free tier
Every account gets 3 free probes per month, no credit card required. This resets on the first of each month.
Free accounts can only run Probes. Upgrade to any paid plan to unlock Standard and Deep scans.

All paid plans get the same capabilities — the difference is how many credits, targets, and team members you get. There are no feature gates between Builder and Pro.
What your credits buy
Builder (30 credits/mo): 30 probes, or 6 standard scans, or 3 deep scans, or any mix.
Pro (120 credits/mo): 120 probes, or 24 standard scans, or 15 deep scans, or any mix.
Monthly billing
Prefer to pay month-to-month? No problem:
- Builder: $25/mo billed monthly
- Pro: $65/mo billed monthly
The prices in the table above ($19/mo, $49/mo) reflect annual billing.
Credit top-ups
Need more credits before your allowance resets? Paid plan subscribers can buy extra credits as a one-time purchase at $5 per 10 credits. Use the quantity picker to buy in multiples of 10 (up to 60 at a time).
Top-up credits are available immediately after purchase and expire at the end of the current calendar month (UTC). They do not roll over.
You can buy credits from Settings → Billing (click "Buy Credits") or directly from the scan configuration drawer when you run out of credits.
Usage tracking
Check your current usage in the dashboard under Settings → Billing. You can see:
- Credits used this month
- Credits remaining (plan allowance + any bonus credits)
- Usage by scan mode
Billing cycle
- Credits reset on the 1st of each month (UTC)
- Unused credits and bonus credits don't roll over
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually
- Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime — changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle
